There are many woodworking projects that you want to put a lock in. First time out you are a little intimidated so Charles shares with you the way he installs a lock in a Keeping Chest. Please note that he is doing the prep work for the installation of the lock BEFORE the box is glued together.

When planning and executing your woodworking projects you MUST think the whole project through, if you were to wait to install the lock until after the box was made, well...you'd be in a little trouble, even a chisel would be difficult to use.

Woodworking is fun, woodworking is challenging, but woodworking is always satisfying.

Happy Woodworking and Be Safe.

The lock used in this project is available from Horton Brasses, Inc. You can find them online at www.horton-brasses.com.
