how can a coin be uncirculated if you pulled it out of a roll of coins from the bank? very nice finds though otherwise.

@xfr777 Hi, the way to tell if a coin is uncirculated is to check the high points of the coin's design. If it has evidence of friction on it, it's not uncirculated, but if there appears to be nice friction-free details, the coin is probable uncirculated. To check for this friction on silver coins look for dull gray areas. There can even be friction in the fields of the coin design, or fine scratches. This can also lead to impaired luster. But uncirculated old coins can still be found.

@MYGOLDCOIN101 when a coin reaches a bank and opened it is circulated and it will only go up to au condition

@pennysarecute2 I belive you are right. Coins that are exposed to circulation, may very well become circulated. But heres the question. Would you be able to tell if a coin is uncirculated just by saying were it came from? Or by having two coins that are MS-65 and not being able to tell which one came from a bank roll? Abuse by heavy handeling, numerous ding marks, or improper cleaning are the keys that takes away a coins mint status. Thanks viewing and commenting.

Really any bank can have loaded coin rolls. I tend to like the machine wraped rolls, so I go to a bank that I know will have them. It's usually a FIRST UNITED TRUST but most banks should be able fill your bank roll searching needs.
