Calling All Zombies

The Dead will walk the streets of Virginia City, Nevada on Friday, June 12th, 2009 and Saturday, June 13th, 2009!

If you're dying to volunteer as a zombie in a music video, read on.

easterfilms.com will be producing a music video for HappyLands recording artist, E.J. Wells. The name of the song is, "Something in the Graveyard" and we will be shooting scenes for the music video in and around Virginia City, Nevada.

If you are interested in participating as a voluntary zombie for the shoot, we will need all participants to show up at th Washoe Club Bar in downtown Virginia City between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm on Friday afternoon, June 12th.

You are encouraged to create your own zombie make-up and costume and arrive already zombie-fied. There's no pay, so you're doing it for the glory of being a gruesome ghoul in a crazy music video. If that's cool, and you can do your own zombie make-up, by all means get creative! Just try to show up in make-up and costume if you are doing it yourself.

For those volunteers who are not keen to spfx make-up and still want to be a zombie, show up as close to 5:00 pm as possible so we can have our dedicated make-up staff do a zombie treatment on you. Be sure to wear old dark clothing (with-out logos showing) and we'll slosh ghoul-goo all over you!

Ron Pardini from CIFX in Los Angeles is volunteering his time, expertise and a whole box-full of original zombie masks for our shoot. While they last, if you show up early and hand over your car keys, Ron will loan you a cool zombie mask. At the end of the shoot, return the mask in the condition you received it and get your keys back. Ron Pardini is a real pro with major movie credits like Men In Black, Independence Day and more! We are really excited to have Ron's participation!

Zombies will also be needed Saturday morning, June 13th, 2009 for an exterior shoot in the cemetery on the north end of Virginia City. Call time will be 9:00 am to 9:30 am prompt! We will get all voluntary Zombies and Goth CowChicks assembled in the cemetery and shoot final scenes of everyone dancing to the band in the cemetery.

Remember, to participate you must sign a release, but you'll get listed in the credits at the end of the film.
