Blanche Lincoln Hates Students

Late last year, Sallie Mae made contributions, most in December, to Blanche Lincoln. Her take for 2009 was $5000.00 from the largest student lender, Sallie Mae. You know, the one who has two corporate jets and a CEO with three mansioned estates, one with a private 18 hole golf course. From 2004 to now, Blanche has taken more than $25,000.00 from the Student Loan Inudstry.

Blanche claims to be concerned with the Arkansas Student Loan Authority and cites those "jobs" as the reason she is voting against reform.. ASLA, the agency that bilked taxpayers out of millions through what is called the 9.5 scheme. Now they are being sued by the US Governement.. This is the organization she specifically sites as a reason for voting against students. An organization quite typical of the fraud and scandal plagued FFELP system that Blanche wants to keep and has said she will vote against reform.

Really Blanche? The ASLA? That's why you are favoring banks over students? It's not the money? Really?
