Don't make the mistake of assuming everyone that joins does so because they are stupid. As the video itself said, the cult goes after people when they are weak, depressed and desperate. It's why they always show up after natural disasters and such. If you had just lost everything and someone came along and told you they could fix it the way the cult promises, how eager might you be to believe and trust them?
