  • @Ninjadude973 whatever's on the blu-ray, i don't really care too much as long as it's got a good mix in either dts hd-ma or dolby truehd. also, if the film itself is shit nothing can save it. why do people get so animated about sound formats?

  • @EmpireLS56KW Lol you ignorant fool DTS HD MA is better than Dolby True HD because it can support up to 24.5 mbps, while Dolby True HD does 18 mbps. Plus, DTS HD MA takes up less space.

  • pfffffffff TTH on YT hahahhahaha

  • @EmpireLS56KW. I recently watched Megamind and Let Me In on Blu-ray on my 5.1 sound system and the Dolby True HD soundtrack rocked the house. The Dark Knight Blu-ray still has best True HD soundtrack in my opinion, so Dolby True HD will always be at the same level as DTS HD.

  • @RkivUnderground You know what FORMAT yesterdays films were? Magnetic Analog. You know where Dolby comes in? Noise reduction, which enhances the dynamic range of magnetic audio tracks printed on film. DTSHDMA and Dolby TrueHD are FORMATS which replicates the magnetic analog MASTER with Dolby noise reduction on disc. Only difference between the two is that DTSHDMA is backwards compatible with the "core" bitstream. Dolby Digital and DTS are FORMATS that don't need noise reduction unlike analog.

  • @EmpireLS56KW A valid reason why DTSHDMA is winning is because it is backwards compatible with the original DTS format. Most people don't have A/V receivers that support lossless audio, and DTSHDMA is more universal. Say, if a BD only had Dolby TrueHD encoded and the receiver doesn't support it, it will not play or the BD player will convert it to LPCM, which doesn't always sound as good as bitstream. Don't get me wrong, I love both Dolby and DTS, but here's the point. (cont.)

  • @lucylovesgaara Not when 99.999% of all Dolby films are being converted to dtsHDMA! You should pause and look at your collect and watch the end credits. There is 99.999% chance yesterdays films were produced in Dolby stereo or 70mm 6track mag Dolby stereo.

If the format carried equal fairness of Dolby and dts on bluray then I’d still be buying it!

I haven’t brought a bluay in 4 months now because of this!

  • @EmpireLS56KW DTS AND TRUE HD RULES!! ;P

  • DOLBY TRUE HD RULES!
