Enrico Molinari started as a bass, but later transitioned to baritone. You can hear the balanced chiaroscuro due to the balance of vocal registers in his sound. He sings dark, but also has tremendous core/squillo in the sound. Most who sing dark today do so by losing the core/squillo or by thickening the sound. His vowels are very clear and his intonation is precise. He died in 1956. Enjoy!

  • Splendid vocalizing.

  • I agree with the previous commenter. A lost art..........

  • Great singing and technique...this singer should be required listening in every school of singing...alas...there is no interest or understanding of great singing anymore. Today it is all about looks, youth and charismo...not singing anymore

  • Yet another superb singer of whom, up till now, I'd never heard -- Thanks, Mr. Cafiero!
