Surprised that nobody has mentioned Rainbow (Joe Lynn Turner´s era). Since Rosenthal wrote most of the music for this album and he played in Rainbow for a while. The influence is quite palpable here.

@merlynho I am NOT agree with you . AOR bands can look like eachothers ,but every band has his own CHARAKTER,COLOR and SOUND ! That's WHY They are so many !.. I can also listen lots of similar metal bands as much as they have "Own Charakter" !.. This IDEA " Just to make something different " brought the new music industry to this situation ; There is no music , There is just IMAGE !..The worst 80ies band is 1000000 times better than any new created band now .
