This is a video of my hitchhiking trip from Yakutsk to Magadan via Kolyma Road on May/June 2011. I've met really fantastic people there and I wish to thank them all for help and kindness. I hope to go back there someday.

Congratulations!! I'm planning the same trip for next month and august, I have Russina visa and flight ticket from moscow to Yakutsk. I hope mosquitos will aren't so killer!!! Just a question, From Yakutsk to khandyga did you take boat (people told me there isn't this kind of service) or by hitchhiking? I watch your video and at the beginning is possible to see you took a boat. Thank you! Bye. Michele

@michedac I don't know if there is a possibility to go to Khandyga by boat. Pictures in my video are from motorboat in which I crossed Lena River from Yakutsk to Nizhny Bestiakh. Hitchhiking to Khandyga took me two days. Take your time in this part of your journey. It's a land of great people and it's worth to wander there longer. This was the best part of my journey.
