  • The highlight of the Domchoe is the Lham Tshom Dance which is performed in honour of Pelden Lhamo, one of the main protective deities of the kingdom.

The Thimphu Lhamoi Domchoe was instituted between 1705 and 1709 by Je Kunega Gyeltshen, the first reincarnation of Jamphel Dorji, the son of Zhabdrung Nawang Namgyel.

According to legend, Palden Lhamo appeared before him and performed the dance while he was in meditation. Based on it, Kuenga Gyeltshen initiated the Lhamoi Domchoe.

  • ya i didn't have my IR filter on, so its low light, i like IR Exorcism better

  • "remedy negative forces", i call it exorcism

A drubchen is a traditional form of meditation retreat in Tibetan Buddhism that lasts for about ten days. It involves a large number of lay and monastic practitioners and is led by at least one High Lama. It is regarded as a very powerful practice, and is said to acts as a remedy to the negative forces at work in the world, and to promote inner personal peace, peace within the community and world peace.

  • That's not infrared, it's low light vision. Low light vision magnifies the light. Infrared looks like the alien's vision in the Predator films, and is based on heat.

  • actually my camera allows for infrared detection by removing the filter that normally prevents its detection on digital censors, so its IR

  • This is vid is not infrared. The title is misleading.

  • This is not an exorsism it is a tantric dance. It is an exorsism which involves acting and moving like tantric yidams, or representations of great compassion. The dancers visualize themselves as the yidams and then enact their movement to enbody the same natural qualities of the yidams, thereby cultivating compassion and obtaining the generous and wise natures of the yidams that they are imitating.

  • This video is not infrared.

    Reason:

There are no shadows in infrared video, except maybe on a sunny day by a tree, but things that move quick would never have an infrared shadow.

  • if they invite demons matania then I am santa clause haha :)

  • They invite demons

  • Then how abt Catholic Exorcism?

remain in this world until the end of existance.

  • Only misleading if you don't know about infrared. Infrared can be both the temperature imaging AND a night-vision-esque image. An area is bathed in infrared light, invisible to the human eye, but shows up brightly lit on an IR camera, however, in black and white. This is exactly what you see here.

  • Erosensai Honey, if you were taught the younger Christianity, then that does not mean that everything comes from outside is wrong and Pagan!

I for example are Buddhist and I saw many Buddhist exorcism that does not mean that I should get off in a steel box.

My friend, I am not at all interested in Christianity but it is a universal advice.

    Try to practice Tolerance!
