  • Burt is The Man.People have no sense of history. All the respect in the world for this guy who was five years straight Box Office King of the World. Nowdays, there are no stars, just a bunch of overpaid spoiled brats. Brazil loves you Burt. You`ll always be Number One in my eyes.

  • @goose700 No rift between Reynolds and Reed's family. Jerry Reed gave Burt Reynolds credit over and over and over again for helping him. And Reynolds loved Reed. If you get the Smokey compilation DVD, Reynolds talks at length about the contributions Reed made to the movie as an actor and composer. A little bit of trivia- Hal Needham originally wanted to cast Jerry Reed as the Bandit! I'm sure Burt misses Reed and Dom DeLuise.

  • He looks just like he did in the bandit movies, I hope he has 30 more years, He is so cool.

  • Ya gotta love Burt Reynolds! I love the Bandit car too!

  • Who fricking cares about this expression or that. He's still a great looking man...and he's still the same charismatic Burt...with that extremely wry sense of humor he has always had. I guess you either "get" Burt or you don't!! He's definitely one of a kind and a true legend. I just wish I could see more of him...and I dearly hope he stays well for many more years to come! Love to BR

  • He had quintuple heart bypass surgery at the end of Feb 2011 so any grimace or sharp intake of breath could have been pain or discomfort based. He did move as he made the facial gesture so I wouldn't read too much into it.

  • Still the Head Honcho.

REPLY - It's just the way BR is...it's part of his "character". He makes certain faces all the time - nothing to do with the "subject" or "pain".....it's a part of him. I thinks he's AMAZING! I've always loved him!

  • Burt is the man!

  • @reelforreal - I don't think the face was made for Jerry Reed & his family. I've noticed Burt in interviews the past year, he makes similar faces. Maybe it's due to age or pain, even? I don't know. It's a shame the only way I can see new Burt stuff is on here & not in the theater.
