Because, silly as it was, it had a surprisingly mature and intelligent wit littered with pop culture references, making it more popular with the 18-34 demographic than it was with the 8-11 one. So instead of embracing that fact, the show was cancelled, and television was forever doomed to never have humor that was both mature AND clean.

@SuperKaizoku1138 Now THAT is something everyone can agree on! They're like the anti-Magic to all the Disney Magic that has been created in the last . . . oh, I'd say 87 years or so. But if the universe has to be put back into balance, better with the Disney shows than with the movies (because even the worst movie created by one of the Disney companies NOT affiliated with Disney Channel is 100 times better than the best Disney Channel Teen Sitcom).

@ztslovebird Whoa let's not get ridiculous here. If there's ANYTHING that Disney has that raises a finger to Walt, it's all those obnoxious Teen Sitcoms. Phineas and Ferb is actually a step in the right direction. Animation that can be enjoyed by kids and adults.

btw, Smart Guy, did you know that the creators of P+F pushed for their show to be in 2D animation? Yep. You know who's the main inspiration for the show? Tex Avery. The more you know...

@GreyMatter00Duh I'll admit, sometimes the show has something genuinely entertaining. But it usually only lasts a few seconds. And the animation is still a middle finger to everything Walt wanted his company to achieve in the field of animation.
