@kashyaphp Yeah thats what I said. He had 5 billion to start with, didn't he? I have much more respect for Tata, Birla, Sunil Mittal, Narayan Murthy and Azim Premji. They do a lot of CSR activities. Ambanis don't do any charity to speak of. And its not just me. Even Ratan Tata and the CEO of Unilever International have publicly criticized Ambani for building this house.

the reason why his house is so big is because it is house + office from where he runs his $60bn business. He has 500 employees working in that building. Why does he runs his business from his home? In India, people that rich rarely get out of their houses because of security issues. Their families never get out in public. so they have movie theater, gym, school everything in their house. Every other weekend they go to London for shopping in their private $100mn Boeing business jet.
