Heres a bit more on the apache.. shows how to do a variety of things including setting the directory index, disabling directory listing, making custom error pages, and changing the web root directory. Enjoy.

  • Idk! I want a download website for my links and those files are big 1-2 gb and i have a (Nos) at home. i want a website name how? make a new tut and delete the old one bad quallity and how can i add website to my host?

  • @AxapliTV apache is a web host. the file sizes dont matter. get a domain name and point it to your IP. I dont have time to re-do tutorial vids or Id have new ones up. Hope that answers your questions.

  • so... in order to connect to the site we have to use our ip?

  • @TheLuigi805 Yes, or set a domain - even if its free.

  • What is apache used for? Is it so you can host a web site? Im just confused because when you buy a domain you can purchase hosting...whats the point of appache?

  • @RTardEntertainment So that you dont have to purchase hosting (presently about a $80/yr savings) or you can use it to host files within your network, etc. You will find that the majority of the hosting companies use apache as well.
