Moses (Hebrew: מֹשֶׁה‎, Modern Moshe Tiberian Mōšé; Greek: Mωϋσῆς Mōüsēs in both the Septuagint and the New Testament; Arabic: موسىٰ, Mūsa) was, according to the Hebrew Bible, a religious leader, lawgiver, and prophet, to whom the authorship of the Torah is traditionally attributed. Also called Moshe Rabbenu in Hebrew (Hebrew: מֹשֶׁה רַבֵּנוּ‎, Lit. "Moses our Teacher/Rabbi.
According to the Book of Exodus, Moses was born in a time when his people, the Children of Israel, were increasing in number and the Egyptian Pharaoh was worried that they might help Egypt's enemies. Moses' Hebrew mother, Jochebed, hid him when the Pharaoh ordered all newborn Hebrew boys to be killed. He ended up being adopted into the Egyptian royal family. After killing an Egyptian slave-master, Moses fled across the Red Sea to Midian where he tended the flocks of Jethro, a priest of Midian on the slopes of Mt. Horeb. After the Ten Plagues were unleashed on Egypt, Moses led the Exodus of the Hebrew people out of Egypt and across the Red Sea, after which they based themselves at Mount Sinai and compassed the borders of Edom. It was at this time that Moses received the Ten Commandments. Despite living to the age of 120, Moses died before reaching the Land of Israel.
A retelling of the bible story. Pharaoh Ramses decrees the death of all Hebrew children, but Moses, placed in a basket in the Nile by his mother, is taken by a royal princess and raised as the brother of the heir to the throne of Egypt, Memefta. Moses is called by God to lead his people from Egypt to the promised land. A very reluctant prophet, feeling unworthy of the call, Moses accepts the task. After a series of plagues Memefta agrees to let the Hebrews go. With second thoughts, he pursues them to annihilation of his army in the parting of the Red Sea. Starvation is averted by manna from heaven, the ten commandments are given the people through Moses, they go astray with worship of the golden calf. Forty years of wandering in the wilderness, until finally they reach what will be their home (which Moses lives to see but not to enter).

  • you see that moses was murderer he was absolutely nothing. But praise our almighty god who forgives and trough moses he spoke to his people.

  • God is one not many as he states in his bible. He has several Hebrew names, of which there are derivatives, but not pagan idol orientated worshiping ones! "There are many gods, but I, Yahuwah am 1 (and the only true God)! " etc.

  • Yes 1amom27 you're very perceptive! But no matter how much of their lies are uncovered and revealed, many still hold them as truth as they've been "brainwashed" to! Even if you have solid facts! Where would you be if you never had a bible or any other GOD book, or knew of God? How would you know God existed?? That small measure or pre-built iota, the voice of his spirit within!.Even the moses story has been lied about!

  • God has many names although he is one, Krishna, Allah, Jehovah are one and the same.. Chant the holy names and be happy.... Allah Akbar God is great and merciful... Down with USA imperialist intervention in the Arab nations.

  • @shadowmanfan 24-7 dumb alright thats how they want us.. the Zionist elites, Illuminati, Masons etc... got to get to the true, the only way is through God.. through direct revelation for our hearts and souls.. humanity is heading for the abyss only the faithful will survive and is not important which religion, the important is our Love for God in our hearts.

  • Mhm maybe i like them both a lot

  • I like The Prince of Egypt more xD

  • A pharaoh declares all Hebrew children 2 and under be killed. Then his daughter finds an abandoned Hebrew child, takes him into the Pharaohs house, educates him, and it doesn't click inside the pharaoh's head, he doesn't notice anything out of the norm, or question his daughter about who the child is?

It appears obvious as his son's dropping clues, Moses then kills a fellow Egyptian, and is banished, not killed as justice. Something's not right about this story! & No records of this were found?

  • Either this movie version is based on what history has revealed us through discovered ancient scrolls, or is an assumption of events or total rubbish.

It seems to be going against all I was told was truth in Sunday church. And via the old "Ten Commandments" movie. So, maybe, just maybe, it is true that somewhere in time, historians have hidden wiped or totally destroyed the real stories, and replaced them with distorted fairy tales to keep us all24/7 dumb.
