  • I agree that a perfect diet will abstain from grains, but for the average high school kid - these are great substitutes. I would say less than 1% of youths are even this healthy when it comes to diet.

  • @lakrs83423 I will give you a short list and you can go out and find a ton of information on these.

    1. Phytic Acid

    2. Lectins

    3. Protease Inhibitors

    4. Alpha-amylase Inhibitors

    5. Alkylrescorcinols

    6. Molecular-mimicking proteins

    This is just to start with. You need to look carefully as remember the grain industry is big money and big corruption. People think grains are cheap - they need to remember they subsidize the farmers with our tax money - take away the subsidizes and see what happens.

  • @philipee32 Grains have a protein called gluten that wreaks havoc on your intestines and causes inflammation throughout the body. Read The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf or check out Underground Wellness on Youtube fo more info.
