Orpheus, gifted musician, follows his dead love to the underworld and begs Hades for her return to life. Inspired by his music, Hades agrees to release Eurydice on the condition that Orpheus refuse to look behind as she follows him back to light. In a moment of doubt, Orpheus looks back and loses his wife once again. Animated by Elena Megalos, 2009.
@belletrivia Yeah and in other stories, he was stoned & ripped apart (literally) by the women he rejected after they found out he didn't get his wife back. They were turned into large oak trees as a punishment and when he died his soul finally reunited with Eurydice's. Such a beautiful story.

Just curious why you didn't have him torn apart by wild beasts at the end. In some versions, his music is so sad afterward that it lures wild animals who tear him to pieces. Of course it is only a metaphor for the being torn apart by grief/loss/broken heart. You film has its own style. Wonderful.
