I was very close to where this video was taken. The performance was fantastic, it was just too hot and sunny. Got sunburnt badly during the Einherjer slot and nearly passed out because it was freakin hot. I drank 3 litres of water at the campsite just before heading towards the stages and 1 litre at the stage site, but it was hardly sufficient to compensate for this insane heat in the front rows of the crowd in the noonday sun. But the show was very rewarding. The Enslaved show was also great.

i cannot believe the stage is so far away at wacken. much happier that i saw them at ragnaroek... though i wish they could never retire the band and play on.
