Shakira performs barefoot because she belly dances. Have you ever seen someone, or tried yourself, to belly dance in heels? Belly dancing is one hell of a work out in itself...
I give Beyonce props for dancing in heels, I KNOW I can't.
But in my opinion...they are BOTH very talented; each in their own way. They were the perfect match for a duet in both singing and dancing. Quit arguing about who's better. You'll never agree, just enjoy the music. It's what it was meant for.
