Check my video, we had a dog traininig for our 1 year old beagle. Difficult for a beagle and a lot of attention because for their own behavior. We get many compliments on the street.

Can I stop her from the chase?

Would muzzling on the walk be a good solution? Which kind?

And what about getting prey from her?--almost seems it would make the problem worse.

Great video! So my dog is half dachshund She's trained but with limitations. She'll do what I say, but not always immediately--except for hares--she'll chase hares and that's bad. They are protected. She's gotten two that were injured and not running and then was super food aggressive --and then ran with them till she could eat it all. cont.--
