i disagree with the statement that if you're not absolutely aware you have a wheat allergy, you probably don't. while this is true if you have a severe, life-threatening wheat allergy, it is not if you have a less severe wheat allergy (like i do). because wheat is in so many foods, it can be hard for ppl to identify. it took years and an allergy test for me to discover that wheat was what was making me feel bad all the time.

@petitbabouins I believe she trying to reach people searching for 'Wheat Free' (People with a wheat allergy) and 'Gluten Free' (people with Celiac). She is explaining the difference between the allergic vs. sensitivity which applies to wheat and other grains or foods for that matter.

disappointing: you spoke here about an allergy v a sensitivity rather than wheat v gluten (which would be suggested by the title/description.

Great information - thank you !

And Rye and Barley?
May the they be excluded from or separated from the Wheat allergy?
Thanks with Blessings :o)
@petitbabouins - MormonManUtah got it exactly correct. Too often people who should be avoiding gluten make two mistakes: first, they say they have an 'allergy' which is not totally correct. And second, they say they need to avoid wheat when in fact that is just one grain of several that must be avoided. That was my point in this video.
Hope that helps!
