During the BBC One show, there was a live broadcast from the 34th floor of BT Tower where the largest of the telethons call centres was hosted. BBC Radio One breakfast show presenter, Chris Moyles interviewed interviewed four of the former members of Take That from the top of BT Tower. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange who reunited for a special screening of their new documentary, which was broadcast on Wednesday night (November 16, 2005) were answering calls and taking donations for the charity.
Coverage of the 26th Children In Need marathon was co-hosted by Terry Wogan, newsreader Natasha Kaplinsky and Top of the Pops presenter Fearne Cotton in a seven-hour broadcasting marathon, the BBCs biggest broadcasting event which links BBC centres all over the country. BT's Pete Coles commented: At peak times, the BT network was handling 150 calls every second! We've had more than 3,000 volunteers in 56 call centres across the UK manning the phone lines and we answered more than a quarter of a million calls.

  • @ickyvickieLOL2 This was two days after Take That had reformed. Robbie wasn't talking to them at this stage.
