Dear friends this week thrower offers you a 78 Emilio Livi one of the most popular voices of the 30s.

Equipped with a light tenor voice, he knew his time of great popularity in 1937 when engraved with the Trio Lescano and the orchestra conducted by Pippo Barzizza "Do not forget my words" and "You who make me cry," both songs extracted from the soundtrack of the movie "These guys".
This was the period in which he accounted for the Parlophone when the English house was produced and distributed in Italy by the newly CETRA.

Among his other achievements, recorded for Parlophone, remember: Azar, Dolls, Good night love song of the pilgrim, who you are, charm, youth, I can not sleep at night, thieves, the real star is you, the Moon melancholy Luna Sea, Mask lost, Mirella, No, I do not cry for you, Nostalgia, bring me many roses, Art thou my vision, Serenade medieval, Sonia, dirt roads, back child, Viper, Living, Temptation and dreamland.

The record that we propose is instead of 1938 when the tenor had just moved to Florence
DISCO gramophone which recorded an equally abundant number of 78's including this as one of the first recorded for this label and even more fortunate because it proposed on one side a song of great success as a "return" of Oliver and Rastelli already launched in Italy for many other singers such as Carlo Buti and sisters with Lescano Quartetto Funaro.

Interesting also the other song on the disc coupled
It is "rustic Acquaiola" signed by Pagan-Di Lazzaro-Rastelli other real best seller at the time.
He directs the orchestra in both tracks Master Gino Dover one of the pillars of the multinational record company.

One more note before I leave you listening to songs;
The little voices of women that accompany both performances are those of Emilio Livi toilsome Kohln Sisters, real, genuine clone of the best known Lescano, specially created and put in place by the record Milanese contrastatare the success of the famous Dutch trio, as well as to permit 'execution of the many hit songs of the period that included a female counter-styled "Sisters Lescano.
Good Listening
