  • CPAP can be the same as those I mentioned with the ventilator. But when using mask CPAP it could also be due to poor mask fit which is similar to a disconnected tube. Remember CPAP like with the Vision has a small pressure sensing line that needs to be connected. If not it won't sense the patient's efforts.

  • Hi. I'm a brand new RT and I have a question. Pt is on cpap it keeps triggering apnea alarm but pt. Has visible chest rise. What could be causing it and what can be?
