  • My old '67 bug was unstoppable in the snow. I would wiz by 4X4's stuck. With the motor over the back tires it was a blast to drive in the snow. Im guessing its the same in a bus....

  • @huebear Yes. Same in the Bus and maybe a lil more grip because of the weight of a Bus. No doubt. Been a few times I have gotten through the snow than some pickups.

  • It starts in the cold weather ? Do you put in 10,40 or 20 50?? Whats the best for winter driving tune up you can give your westy??

  • @kenster38 I run 20/50 year round here in central PA. Hotter running engine with the 2.0 liter. Check your choke to be sure it's correctly adjusted.

  • Those old VW buses and campers have souls, unlike just about every other car on the road.

I'd like to see a spring or summer day in the life of your VW bus. Driving while listening to CCR, the Dead, and Iron Butterfly for your next 3-part video.

  • 1:35 caddy is too slow for bus

  • @SteelersBus Works fine,i rebuilt the engine ,with new carbs, the originals don,t exist on the market anymore ,,,had to go with progressive carbs ,the choke works fine but takes very long time to warm up,take off can have a flat spot, but once it reaches 120 deg, works very good, hits 70 mph .I was affraid 20/50 would be too thick, for cold winters.1.8 1974 ,,,thx stealerBus.

  • agreed

  • Great car looks like fun I'm still looking for one. Great Music, Good taste.

  • it's ok, me and my dad went thro the front brakes a couple weekends ago. New pads and lines. The old right front brake line, the rubber half, had fragmented inside and clogged itself(common problem) so the right side was always braking a little, but wouldn't compress when I hit the brakes. Thats why it would pull slightly to the right when driving, and pull to the left when braking. After we were finished I drove it around. The difference was night and day. Now I CAN stop faster than a semi XD
