I've flown on a lot of foreign airlines, and their accent's are often so bad, I've always wondered how the ATC can understand them and vis versa.
This just explained everything.

@OmsoiTekken He made it perfectly clear. He followed all of the guidelines for communication, the Air China Pilot clearly had limited knowledge of it. It is understandable he got a little unsettled because if the Air China machine had messed up, he might have been stuck with the blame.
