I'm not sure that most drivers understand that the MOT "forces" semi-truck drivers to "FIX" logbooks , that are unfixable. In most cases , the actual trips do not match the actual driving or activities that the driver performed with the equipment , thereby a company can bank the entire revenues without paying any taxes on the extra trips they manage to conduct with the unit. MOT doesn't even keep a running track of any truck's odometer , which any "REWRITE" would prove it to be falsified.

Meanwhile , when you enter a scale , it's officers work for , and enforce MOT guidelines and laws. What good does it do , when you invite yourself to a company's premisses , due to witnessing "FAKE OR ILLEGAL LOGBOOK RECORDS" in MOT files , which also include "failing to report proper revenues" to Revenue Canada , if you are simply going to advise that the logbooks "must be rewritten" to make them legally passible? Re-writing has no bearing on the infractions , and doesn't promote safety.

It's really no surprise this sort of thing happens , seeing as the MOT doesn't punish companies or it's involved drivers , when they find fake , false or completely fraudulent logbooks. MOT officers go to companies who they audit , and demand that the particular driver/s involved "REWRITE" six months , etc. of logs , so that the MOT copies/records can be corrected , without penalty. That is falsifying logbooks within the MOT , with MOT permission.

Deadline? the fucking guy was carrying a load of sand, it wont spoil, it'l keep,
the problem is this independent contractors that make so little money on each load that they have to drive like maniacs to try to do an extra load a day.
Welcome to the 401 Hindi.

People are saying that he was on 120 km per hour really he can't Bec a law in Ontario came out that Ur engine must be locked to 105 km per hour it comes with a new truck like my dads 2010 peterbilt 386 but if it's a old truck u must go to a mechanic to get it locked cause u get caught on the scales/weight station in Ontario and ur engine is open u are fucked

@mistamatrix hey!!! awesome that you saw this! great to hear from you. And yes, definitely "learning" one's car by doing "test driving" in empty parking lots filled with snow is a good way to learn!
