Monty and kitties

Just made a video of Monty, our pet royal ball python, and our two 6 year old females Taloose and Layla, the kitties. Taloose is the white and black calico, Layla is the evil rust British Tortoiseshell swatting at me. Taloose is a sweetheart, Layla has hip displaysia and osteoarthritis but she's really a sweet cat, she just thinks she's playing, but god it hurts XD
and Monty...he's a total sweetheart, and he's so friendly. He doesn't see me often but whenever I'm near him, if I don't get within a foot, no matter how fast I move he's always fine with it, and if I'm standing still he'll come near me and start nuzzling at my shirt, and he's even gotten right in my face before without going into a striking position.
Snakes aren't evil killers, just because they don't have fur and eat live small fuzzy animals whole doesn't mean their mindless brutes. 100% of people who have a snake, or several, as pets, have never been bitten and if they have it was a mistake of their own and the snake was just nervous and defending itself, just like a cat would or a dog would.
Monty is 5 years old, eats live white feeder mice, and lives in a 40 gallon tank with a plastic sheet at the top with holes in it. We change his paper-towel substrate once to twice a week and never let our kitties get close enough to spook him into snapping, either. =3
