Wow, this is so interesting. I can see now how roasting, just by itself, can be an art. I bet the whole room smells delicious. Now, can you add different flavors to the beans as they roast, like cinnamon or nutmeg or are they added in during a different process? So how did the coffee taste? I'm assuming you've tried it by now. I would totally take a shot from you :-)

wow, 15 minutes? did it hit first crack? would keeping the top roast them faster? i think roasting them more slowly like 15 minutes would develop the flavor better than a quick 5 minute roast in a popper. how did it taste?

@peterrabbit31 Yes it hit first crack ... my total roast time has been around 9 minutes. This one took a while! I will not taste it till tomorrow so I'll let you know! My Behmor Roaster arrived today so I think first up with be an Ethiopian !!
