@yilmazumit so impossible at the first time that the voice we heard was so angelic, so cold that overwhelmed us with something, so sad to feel the melody, takes twice of the voice and trice with the picture...

@Vitanichan Some say Lucciola died for nothing after the tragedy of Dio's death when he died in confusion and possibly falling to his death, but I disagree.
What watchers misunderstand is that Lucciola not only wanted to free Dio as a friend. He also wanted to free his master from his sister, the cold hearted Delphine. Though Dio died of unfortuate events after a noble effort done by his best friend, Dio died a free man away from the clutches of his sister, the person he feared most.

@Vitanichan Actually, I know that comment was made years ago, but Dio not only didn't want to forget everything up until that point but he knew how loyal Lucciola was to him and hoped his friend to come to save him which made the scene sadder because Lucciola wouldn't be coming. At the time he was strictly under the Maestro's command only.
When Lucciola saw the new Dio, he realized Dio was no longer the friend he once knew and shared so many times with. So he let Dio, Claus and Al go free.

THis is the song that i feel so sad

I cried when Dio changed D: - so sad.
Yeahm I agree. I also wrote one or two fics about it (they're in Italian, but I'll try to translate them). Lucciola died in the way he wanted to, but Dio... Dio died thinking that Lucciola's death was because of him... truly sad, sad, sad... I cried when I saw this.

Just because of this she obliged him to have a brainwash and become a totally new person, who could only obey to her and kill for her. In that scene, Delphine's servants were taking Dio in the brainwash's room, but he didn't want to do it. He was calling for Lucciola, 'cause he didn't want to be separated from his friend like that.

The song is part of the Last Exile OST, and... it's a little hard to explain why Dio was crying there... I'll try to tell you in a very very simple way: Dio was one of the members of the nobility, 'cause his sister Delphine was the Guilt's headmaster. Delphine wanted for his little brother to be the new headmaster, but she also wanted him to belong always to her (she was very jealous of Lucciola, too).
