"The Calling: Book One: Dark Vision" by Simon Russell-Baker

Set in the near future, a teenager and his friends are called by God to save their town from evil people and the demons that control them. Jamie, the main character, has a dark vision and this sets everything in motion. Jamie tells his friends and they decide to help him try to understand what is happening. An angelic visitation shows that the teens must join forces and form a bond of unity to help overcome the evil taking place in their town. Through a series of supernatural events, a plot is revealed that will shake the very foundation of the town. With the help of family, angels and a mysterious man named Jerry, the teens work to discover the enemy's plans and put a stop to it. This book is the first in a series and is aimed at teens through to adults.
