  • AWESOME! Triton is my favorite moon! It's the largest moon to have a retrograde orbit (backward orbit). Its orbit will become more elliptical in ~3 billion years, it will collide with Neptune. Neptune will then have a large ring. It's the 7th largest moon. Also, it's Geologically Active! Its surface continues to be replenished by warmer ices. It consists mostly of Nitrogen, and trace Methane. It has Nitrogen Cryovolcanoes and Geysers ALL OVER the -391ºF surface! WE NEED A MISSION TO THIS SYSTEM!
