  • Oh... I am not a Democrat. I just don't like Ron Paul. If he is the enemy of the GOP, he should run as a member of a different party. He calls himself a Republican. Therefore: He is included.

  • Epic Fail

  • shitty video

  • it's sad that we have gone so far down these road that people don't even know what being a republican is all about.

the only republican running is Ron Paul, and he is the only one that will fix anything, the rest of them on both sides are proven liars, and have the history to show this, all but Ron Paul are big government collectivists no mater what they claim to be, their actions and votes prove it.

  • The states cannot take up that slack. Nor does business operate ethically without serious government oversight. This is what is called IGNORANCE. We had a laissez faire economy in the late 19th and early 20th centuries which led to extreme exploitation of workers and our natural resources. Ron Paul is just another dumbass who can't read a history book and learn from it... I like that he talks about ending the wars but he is still a fucking moron!

  • @TexTexTex31 FEMA was established to assist state governments when they were overwhelmed... which they often are... by disasters. The governors of the state ALWAYS ask for the President to declare a state of emergency which then releases FEMA... which then allows for the National Guard to be called into action. I agree with Mr Paul about the wars but this notion he has of NO federal government oversight in crucial areas is ASSININE. The environment DOES NOT take care of itself. The STATES

  • @johnwhipple P.S. We currently lack the having national guard troops (along with their equipment and helicopters) to assist in our state emergencies because most of them are scattered throughout the middle east fighting wars for no good reason. Bring our troops home and we will have no need for FEMA, and get this, we'll have lots more money because we won't be spending billions on war. Sounds to me like Ron Paul knows what he's talking about.

  • @johnwhipple The 1900 comment was in regard to how our nation handled national disasters. Back then, prior to 1979, we used our national guard and state funding to deal with natural disasters. Things were handled efficiently by the states (note* the STATE of Texas built the seawall in Galveston, not the federal government). In 1979, FEMA was formed and has become one of the most wasteful, incompetent programs in government history. Don't think so? Ask the folks who went through Katrina.

  • Dear Democrat, I think you need to realize that Ron Paul is the exception when it comes to Republicans. Why do you think nearly all of his own party members attack him? Why does he basically stand alone in asking to end the wars? Why is he the only GOP candidate who would end the drug wars and repeal the patriot act? Why is he the only candidate who truly believes in protecting the civil liberties of Americans?... Because he's not like them. Ron Paul should never be lumped in with his enemies.
