hmmm, if i dont have parchment paper what would you reccommend? should i just place the shadow directly in the pan or use foil....a paper towel maybe?

Wow, you're very resourceful. I never would have thought of using business card magnets! Super creative!

I like this a lot! Lots more room than the flat iron method that's for sure. Thanks for sharing your method.

@realfam1969 Your welcome, a salt pig is a ceramic container (shaped like a pig) that holds kosher salt... :)

like cant u take out the pan out of the little black thing without the heat and rubbing alcolhol method? cuz tats kinda a lot of things to do.

It's actually glued into the little black pan. The heat warms it up and loosens the glue!

There are two schools of thought you use the "no heat" method or the "heat" method. "No heat" means you used only rubbing alcohol to remove the metal pan. I've crack a few shadows this way so I use the "heat" method. When you use rubbing alcohol at the end of the heat method it is just to remove excess glue from the metal pan.

Just curious this method wont ruin the blush or eye shadow in anyway?
can this work for cream blush?
thanks

I have used this method to depot 90% of my blush and eyeshadow--I have never had anything happen to my product (unless I dropped it,lol). I would use a "no-heat" method for cream products!
