The Jordan-war was pro-US/Israelis Vs Palestinians seeking rights.Until 1948,Maronites came to Palestine for trade & work;& were welcomed.Yet in '48 as Palestinians fled to Lebanon to escape Israeli genocide,the Maronite-led regime humilated & threw them into tents,denied them work,education,healthcare,& all rights for 30yrs.Their honor was insulted so they revolted.Who fought bravely for 60yrs never sold their state.Althu I oppose Damur,it was revenge for 1000 killed at Karantina.
