Years ago I remember sitting about 15 Meters away from REM when they played this at the Air Canada Centre here in Toronto. Before they played the song Michael Stipe commented how violent the 20th century had been. It was fairly recently after 9/11 and I'm pretty sure he was referring to that. I will never forget that. On this date, Sept 11, 2011, ten years after that attack on America, just wanted to say RIP to the victims on that day.
