In many games (the games that people will use this for) the keys are spread all over the keyboard.  In DotA you have commands spread all over your letter keys, and other commands on the numpad. In order to do those faster, The Peregrine is the best way possible.

You need to touch activator pads. This glove is not gesture based.

This here is pretty useless, I'd even rather have the Nintendo power glove seriously, this 'invention' is incredibly useless, not to mention it's far off from being ''groundbreaking'' and especially not in several ways.

There's no battery - it plugs into your computer via USB :).
