That exhaust system look restrictive, can you get better torque with it or would an 1 5/8 merged system with a full flow muffler work better? Sounds great though, i don't care about chrome tin, personally i prefer black on my 2276, but it ain't my motor!

what car does that engine come from?
is it custom build or what?
-
That sounds real good with that monza style exhaust i haven't heard one in years. The motor looks great as well not much looks as good as chrome tins to top it off. I bet it runs perfect.
-
Uh, Chrome doesnt make them run hot. Your're all stupid people spreading rumors.
-
There's a reason solar reflectors and teapots are chrome... all to do with conservation of heat. Gene Berg has proven matt black engines run cooler than chrome ones. End of discussion. Mind you, you can't be after performance with a Monza 4 tip on there ;-)

chrome is like stickers the more you have the faster you go
-
it's nice to see it still doing it's job after that tragic accident with the vat of chrome though.
-
doesnt matter if the chrome makes it hotter or not. it looks stupid and its a pain in the ass to keep engine chrome clean. dirty chrome looks like shit. just paint that tin black like its supposed to be.
-
everyone complaining about chrome. The myths about the chrome running hot is basically bs. Its due to the cheap quality of the aftermarket chrome tins that tends to make them run hot. i bet if you get all factory tins and chrome them, you wont notice a difference. chrome actually radiates heat better than say, white

@herbienbrian Lol...What will run to hot with the chrome on this engine. Your eyes?,? MG some remarks says more about the poster than about the topic.
bleh, to much chrome. Make it run to hot!
