I'm currently running an ATi HD4870, will I see a large performance boost by uprading to a GTX570?

I am using an Intel i5, 4GB RAM, Win7 64bit, 32" monitor @16:10.

I'm looking to upgrade for BF3.

@soundslave size of the monitor/tv in your case doesnt matter. Guessing its onlly 1920x1080 anyways. But yes dude you will see a huge improvement :)

@swiv2d Eh? The CPU is placed into the socket built into the motherboard. The cooler then clamps over it and delivers its cooling properties. It's not a 'bay'.

play with just the 1080p monitor.

my gtx 570 can play any game at 1080p with maximum settings. some games i have to lower the settings like the witcher 2 i can play it with everything maximum exept ubersampling.

Do you think that if I had this, along with a 2600k i7, that I could run 2 monitors, one at 1620x1080, and one at 1600x900, while being able to max out most modern games at a reasonable framerate, or is that an unrealistic expectation?
