March 9th Possible Structure Fire

Liberty Township Fire Department was dispatched to a possible structure fire. Smoke was coming from the vents and was in the building. The smoke resulted from a malfunctioning furnace with a frozen fan. As a precaution, SCBAs were worn, hoses deployed, and port-a-tank was dropped. Ventilation fans were used to vent the smoke out of the building. Because of the Findlay 2009 flood, alternate routes had to be used to arrive at the scene, which included the interstate. Allen Township and HANCO EMS were on standby. (After the initial response, there is not much activity by camera).

POV is privately owned vehicle aka your own pickup or car that you have had fitted with lights and if legal sirens.

@fndrjbass POV is Point Of View, other wise known as a personal vehicle. A lot of states allow paid and and volunteer fire fighters to use their POV to respond to emergencies. There are many rules when it comes to these POV's.
