I have to say that I really like your art, though to be honest I preffered it before you darkened it and blurred the shadows but that's just me. Have you ever done any tutorials? (Aside from speech bubble one)

Have you thought about setting your fill mode to 'multiply' or similar, so that you can still use one colour to shade, but it will blend differently with the colours you already have in place?
