George, you can take JarJar, you can take all the CGI, you can take the Phantom Menace in 3D, you can take the unnecessary special edition reworkings and you can shove them into a small thermal exhaust port. YOU WILL NEVER CREATE SOMETHING AS FUCKING AWESOME AS THIS EVER AGAIN.
@Milienius how long would it take for the second bridge to even know what the hell was happening... besides that once being pulled into the death star grav field how would it pull out.(thats what she said.) but as i said i also noticed it had fire from undernieth and was wondering if something elswas happening.. something failed or some unknown problem that wasn't forsaken... got to remember the admirals thought that vaders flagship was a dumb idea but didnt tell Vader as they didnt want to die
Ah you misunderstand me. I just saw other bringing up EaW so I mentioned my personal method. I know it had no bearing on this. The cannon says The Emperor was using Battle Meditation to boost the fleet(without the fleets knowledge) and they fleet had, unkowningly, come to rely on it. The destruction of the SSD was....just...no...They had secondary bridges and there is no way it would have spun out of control that fast. Also, that didn't happen 'til damn near the end of the battle.
@Milienius From a tactical point of view it might not make much sense, but a game does not depict things as real life events. You have to take into account things like Morale (which for imperials wouldve been very low after losing their strongest ship, their admiral, and the death star), and Chaos (against, caused by the loss of their commander).
@Avenger2680 If i were to guess, the unexpected death of Admiral Piett, who commanded the fleet, along with the destruction of the Admiral's ship, which was by far the strongest Imperial ship, and the destruction of the Death star left the Imperial fleet in chaos and demoralized, and they probably retreated after the Death Star was destroyed in order to regroup.
With Admiral Piett as the flagship and surrounded by support ships. I didn't like having 2 ISDs cause it was basically just those two ships. Also, I never liked using the SSDs much(unless I just felt like raping) cause there is no real strategy except blast away and it's damn near impossible to maneuver. Rebels are only good if ya know how to use them and I was only ever mediocre with them.
The look on Admiral Ackbar's face as the Super Star Destroyer went down was timeless.

The Rebels should have been smacked down long before that.
