@xxxN1nJa5k1LZxxx If your hips are in the right position the angle to the groin should be very small or not an option. The person trying to attack the groin might have to retreat his foot first before attacking. Also once contact has been made you can listen to the other leg with out seeing it . Your tactile reflexes are your fastest.
