@TABerselli Why spend cash on 3/4 gtx cards when u can get enought power to max out whateva u want for just 500 bucks. a 6950 only costs 250 dollar and one card alone can max out every except metro 2033 unless u turn dop off.

@UzumakiNarutoKun96 You got me there. I use an 850w psu and wouldn't dare using 3 GTX580s on it. $2,000 on graphics isn't worth it either. I use a single GTX580 right now and the idea of spending another $500 just to upgrade graphics is a little ridiculous. Some games, like GTAIV don't even utilize multiple GPUs, and those that do, often do it poorly. 4way sli set-ups are often unreliable and either do great, or extremely poorly on in game benchmarks.

@TABerselli 6950 flashed to 6970= s and if u get one u can later on upgrade to another 6950 and flash it and you will have the same power as the 6990/ gtx 590. for much less cash. also gtx card swallows electricy without even chewing and will require a big psu if u ever try to sli that. and the performance isnt really a improvement compared to the flashed 6950's. There isnt a single game today i cant max and still get 60 fps smooth. (even metro 2033)

@UzumakiNarutoKun96 When it comes to top of the line cards, I disagree. When you look at cards under $300, I agree. The GTX460 has become a standard in gaming, one that AMD has been able to surpass for dozens of dollars less. Now to the expensive cards: The 6950,6970,6990,GTX570,GTX580,a­nd GTX590. The 6950 has trouble competing with any of the other cards, but it's cheapest. 6970=GTX570 in both price and performance, same for 6990 and GTX590. GTX580 is most expensive, but is best in quad sli.

@juniortore I don't believe in replying to comments this old, but I will make an exception. The truth is Intel is better in most cases. While AMD chips seem better "on paper" to people who know little about processors (including myself), Intel chips usually outperform AMD chips in benchmarks. The Intel xeon chip, the i5 2500k, i7 2600k, i7 960, i7 980x, and i7 3930k, are some good examples of Intel's current benchmark domination over their AMD counterpart.
