This webinar will explore how consumers can get the most useful life out of existing products, and how some products can be repurposed to keep them out of the waste stream even longer. In addition to an overview on reuse, specific topics will include building material reuse, creative reuse, and online reuse marketplaces. The expert panel of speakers will also explain ways municipal officials, community leaders, and educators can promote reuse in their communities.

Speakers:
Dave Bennink - ReUse Consulting
MaryEllen Etienne - Reuse Alliance
Megan Hughes and Liz Fried- University of Maryland Environmental Finance Center
Ann May Woodward - The Scrap Exchange

This webinar is hosted by the Syracuse University Environmental Finance Center located at SyracuseCoE in partnership with the New York State Association for Reduction, Reuse, and Recycling (NYSAR3). It is provided at no cost to New York State residents thanks to a solid waste management grant from the USDA Rural Development Service, and access is extended to attendees across the United States thanks to an agreement with the National Recycling Coalition.
