The Rainbow Sash Movement is calling Archbishop Chaput to apologize to the child of a lesbian couple who he is not allowing to enroll in the Catholic School System in Bolder.
@mucephi1 the difference is the intellectual capacity to know the difference and recognize on their own the freedom to choose what to believe between two opposing views...otherwise they will start to sound like you.
@eracer825 Please how is that any different from any person that must somehow reconcile all the religious bullshit shoved down thier throats on a daily basis? Crap that has no validity in this world or any other? They are told to believe in things like miracles and creation myths that obviously are false and have no basis in reality. Not to mention god considers eating shellfish or working on the sabbath to be crimes equal to homosexuality. Christians are simply stupid evil people.
How many kids at the school have parents who are divorced and remarried? How many have parents who don't go to mass every Sunday and holy day of obligation?
The school probably has tons of parents who don't adhere to all of Catholic teaching. But to only speak up when it's about gay people seems like you're targeting one group.
SHUT IT UP....Bringing the child sex abuse at EVERY TURN to intimidate the CHURCH...so CUT THE MELLOW MUSIC and do what is good DENOUNCE GAY MARRIAGE and especially the adoption of a child by a gay couple.
Thank you for posting this. I am a devout Catholic who was DISGUSTED to hear this was going on. The hypocrisy and singling out of people who are different by a supposedly loving and charitable organization that is currently trying to keep its own dirty laundry under wraps is appalling. Whenever a comedian makes a crude joke or the media does a negative story on the church, there's Bill Donahue to whine on behalf of the church. Who is standing up for this family and these kids?
the refusal of enrollment is for the protection of the child. the question is why would people want to submit the child into such difficulty of reconciling what the child will learn from the school and what the child will witness at home.
@eracer825 Please at least ATTEMPT to make sense. thanks.
