  • I haven't been keeping up my channel since YouTube (via the big record companies) deleted most of them but thanks for all the nice replies.

I wonder if you folks know that YouTube vids are downloadable. Since I can't post a link you'll have to google the term "youtube downloader". It's free and it converts the flv files to avi. I usually use a third party software (magic video converter) to change the avi files to mpeg. Check it out.

  • Thanks chewbacca0901 for the info on the Stagecoach Festival. I just went to the website and it looks like it will be a great event. $99.00 gets a two day pass. I'm gonna try and make that one. Thanks again.

  • I wonder if anyone remembers ABC In Concert from the early seventies. Poco was a guest one night and I remember they played this song. ABC In Concert had some awesome shows. I remember Loggins and Messina singing Golden Ribbons and Angry Eyes, One show had one of the few live performances of Steely Day playing Reeling In The Years. I can remember Alice Cooper too. Anyone remember this program?

  • Neilcrab---That's the point! The only reason "new" Country exists today, is because of Poco, Flying Burrito Bros, etc from the 60's and 70's. The old-timers were actually ahead of their time, "new" Country took decades to catch up.

  • They are awesome then & now

  • @boatman1953 Somehow I just noticed your message here! I wish I could have made it, but my mom was dying at the time...

  • @donpedrossy

Randy Meisner deserted them for Eagles too, didn't he

  • Year, a good feelin` to hear, Poco

  • @mrmesq53 Well. I appreciate the sentiments, but I don't sense that the "new country" comes from this. Most of the new country-pop writers wouldn't know a melody or a hook if one bit them in the nose. =This=, however, is =crammed= full of them. BTW, Richie's on tour now (summer '11) with a couple geezers named Stephen Stills and Neil Young. They call their little band... Buffalo Springfield.

  • @boatman1953 Remember it?!?! I will NEVER forget the Allmans and Freddy King on it together. Dicky Betts tore the world up with Ramblin' Man... oh wow.......... Another time Grand Funk tore it up - Farner broke 2 or 3 strings on his guitar and still kept playing! The audience went nuts.....

  • @boatman1953 Yeah, I almost never missed that show. The other one that was a never miss was Don Kirchner's Rock Concert. Thanks for posting this.

  • Love POCO!!!! Raphaela..
