NCIS 7x22 Abby/Gibbs - "Tell me how much you love me.."

NCIS season 7, episode 22. Abby/Gibbs ending -- so sad!!

Abby: Hi Gibbs.
Gibbs: Hey Abbs.
Abby: Can I come in?
Gibbs: Yeah, you are already in.
Abby: Allright.
Abby: Okay... What, it was nice talking to you...
Gibbs: Abbs, why are you here?
Abby: You know why I'm here.
Abby: I matched the bullet in Pedro Hernandez's head to your sniper rifle. You killed him. In cold blood. I mean, I know what he did Gibbs, he killed your wife and your daughter...But Gibbs!
Gibbs: I know.
Abby:Gibbs doesnt do things like that, o-o-or does he? Now I dont know. I dont know anything. The only thing that I do know is that I didnt find this out by accident.
Gibbs: Rule 40.
Abby: It seems like someone is out to get you, they are. You have no idea how much I wish it was yesterday. Maybe if I can just close my eyes and open them againit will be. Do you realize the situation that Im in now?
Gibbs: Yeah, I know.
Abby: Do you understand the choice I have to make now?
Gibbs: I know.
Abby: Stop saying I know!
Gibbs: What do you want me to say?
Abby: Tell me that Im wrong! Tell me that I made a mistake
with the ballistics or
Gibbs: No. No, I cant say that.
Abby: Then tell me how much Ive been like a daughter to you, and how much you love me...
Gibbs: Will that help?
Abby: No... what I really need to know, Gibbs, is if youre gonna love me.. no matter what.

yeah me too! ...it was so sad..but at the same time somehow addicting. I was kinda angry that it ended before Gibbs had a chance to tell her he loved her :(

so not father & daughter though.... through the past seven seasons, all the flirting and hints... no way. Gibbs didnt answer Abby anyway.

The hug and kiss nuzzle in season7 finale was NO WAY father & daughter again!

I just love their interactions!!

I am sobbing right now. Gibbs is definitely a father figure to Abby, just as Pauley said. It's awful to think the man whom you love like your own father killed someone in cold blood, but Abby being Abby loves him anyways Pauley and Mark portrayed this scene perfectly!!  this scene!! Its not a real father/daughter, but it isnt a relationship either. they are just very close. Gibbs is protective of Abby, and Abby is just really cheeky!
