Swan River Main Street Helicopter Tour

They just finished paving Main St. the other day, so I thought I would "inspect" it from my helicopter. Unfortunately, I clipped the traffic light at 6th Ave. and crashed right on the street!

(Okay, I wasn't really flying a helicopter. I made a tripod out of flexible tent poles and put the GoPro Hero video camera up there, 16 ft. above the street. In the computer, I doubled the speed, added the helicopter sound and used the Smoothcam filter to compensate for the camera waving around, which is why you can see the black borders rotating. Unfortunately, one of the legs of the tripod came apart, and down came the GoPro!)

At first you had me convinced then I noticed a few trucks staying ahead of you lol. So how is the GOPRO, it seems ok I am considering buying one soon.
