this still remains my fav fight scene in a tv show....its just so fucking amazing and badass!!!! not tv show will ever top alias!1 o hell how miss this shoWWw thank god i have all the seasons on dvd lol
the fight scene was not bad.. bought the whole john woo diving thing at the beginning was really fake and lame she looked like she was fucking flying or something
Good point, rocketswitch. Tarantino's character actually beat the CRAP out of Sidney in an episode before she finally got a little get back! And the I wouldn't doubt that there was at least some "influence" from Alias to Kill Bill.
@michaelmcclain23 Yep you're absolutely right. I would even argue that Kill Bill DID in fact rip off alias, not just because the basic premise is the same as Alias (CIA chick gets done over and seeks vengeance), but also because Tarantino was somewhat close to the Alias Season 1 production, himself actually appearing in Season 1 and Season 3.
FYI...this really isn't a kill Bill rip off as this was filmed before Kill Bill ever came out. This is season 2 of Alias 2002-2003. The season began on September 29th 2002 and concluded on May 4th 2003, which of course means it was filmed before that. Kill Bill was first released October 10th of 2003...If anything Kill Bill did a little ripping off. But I would guess that there was none of that on either side. Both just had some kick butt (no pun intended) fight scenes!
